SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • 1 Grapevine wreath with eucalyptus leaves
  • Artificial flowers: white roses, assorted succulents, cream roses, white babies breath, white thistles, small nosegay bunches of mixed white flowers
  • Green floral wire
  • 1 Roll of 6" wide white cotton ribbon
  • Scissors
  • Floral tape
  • Hot glue gun and glue sticks
  • Wire cutters

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Pull the stems of eucalyptus leaves off the wreath.
  2. Make some longer stems of eucalyptus leaves by laying one branch overlapping the previous stem and wrap together using floral tape. You will need about 6 of these at a length of 12".
  3. Cut most of the flowers to a length of 9" stems.
  4. Starting at the back or bottom of the bouquet, lay the longer stems of eucalyptus leaves for a background. Use floral tape to wrap them together laying one stem on top of the previous.
  5. As you get closer to the top of the bouquet, you will need to use shorter stems.
  6. Slide the succulents, white thistles and babies breath in and around the bigger flowers. You may need to wrap wire around the thistle stems to give them support.
  7. Wrap floral tape around the base of the flower bunch.
  8. Squeeze the bunch together to give it stability.
  9. Wrap the base handle of the bouquet with white cotton ribbon.
  10. Make the bow big and floppy so it drapes nicely.
  11. Wrap the jute twine around the base to finish off the bouquet.
  12. Cut the end of the ribbon on an angle.
