  • RED HEART® “Super Saver®”: 1 Ball 512 Turqua.
  • Crochet Hook: 5mm [US I-9] and 8mm [US L-11] Yarn needle.
  • GAUGE: 18 sts = 6”; 10 rows = 4” in pattern stitch using larger hook. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.
  • RED HEART® “Super Saver®”:  E300 available in Solid 7 oz (198 g), 364 yd (333 m); multicolor and print 5 oz (141 g), 244 yd (223 m), flecks 5 oz (141 g) 260 yds (238 m) skeins.

SCARF

With larger hook, ch 19. Row 1 (Right Side): Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across – 18 sc. Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc here and throughout), turn, dc in each sc across – 18 dc. Row 3: Ch 1, turn, sc in first 2 dc, *skip next dc, Fpdc around sc 2 rows below next dc, Fpdc around sc below skipped sc, sc in next 2 dc; repeat from * across. Row 4: Ch 3, turn, dc in each st across. Row 5: Ch 1, turn, sc in first 2 dc, *skip next st, Fpdc around Fpdc below next st, Fpdc around Fpdc below skipped st, sc in next 2 dc; repeat from * across. Repeat Rows 4-5 until piece measures 60” from beginning. Fasten off.

FINISHING

With smaller hook, join yarn in any st with sc, sc evenly around edges of Scarf, working 3 sc in each corner, join with a slip st to first st. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
