Pattern Notes
- Throw is worked, back and forth in rows, from the lower edge upwards._x000B_
- A border is worked in rounds all the way around the outer edge of the finished throw._x000B_
- The yarn color is changed to form stripes. To change yarn color, work last stitch of old color to last yarn over, yarn over with new color and draw through all loops on hook to complete stitch. Fasten off old color and proceed with new color._x000B_

Row 1: Work 1 double crochet (dc) in fourth chain (ch) from hook (the 3 skipped chains count as the first
double crochet), double crochet in each remaining chain to end of foundation chain.
Note: There will be 130 double crochet stitches in Row 1 (counting the 3 skipped chains at the beginning of the row as 1 double crochet). Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), turn, skip the first st; working in back loops only, dc in each dc to end of row, working the last dc in both loops of top of the beginning ch – 130 dc. Rows 3–6: Repeat Row 2 four more times and change to Royal yarn as you finish the last dc of Row 6. Rows 7–12: With Royal yarn, repeat Row 2 six times and change to Spring Green yarn as you finish the last dc of Row 12. Rows 13–18: With Spring Green yarn, repeat Row 2 six times and change to Royal yarn as you finish the last dc of Row 18. Rows 19–102: Repeat Rows 7–18 for 7 more times.
Note: Be sure to change to Royal yarn as you finish the last dc of Row 102. Cut the Spring Green yarn. Do not fasten off the Royal yarn.

Round 1:
Step 1: Ch 1, turn, working through both loops of each st, work 3 single crochet stitches(sc) in first dc (first corner made), work 1 single crochet in each dc to beginning ch, work 3 single crochet in top of beginning ch (second corner made). Step 3: Working along lower edge of throw, work 3 single crochet stitches in the chain at the base of the first dc (3rd corner made), work 1 single crochet in the chain at the base of each dc across, work 3 single crochet stitches in the bottom of the beginning ch (4th corner made). Step 2: Work single crochet stitches as evenly spaced as possible along the first long side edge. Step 4: Work single crochet stitches as evenly spaced as possible along the second long side edge; join with slip stitch (sl st) in first single crochet. Round 2: Ch 1, do not turn, sc in the same sc as the joining sl st, 3 sc in next sc (corner), *sc in each sc to the center sc of the next 3-sc corner, 3 sc in center sc of corner; repeat from * 2 more times, sc in each sc to end of round; join with sl st in first sc.
