Repeat from * twice more. Place safety pin between first and last sts of round to mark end of round. 4 sts increased. 8 sts at end of round.
2nd round: Pull first 2 loops from working yarn up through first st of round - increase 1 st in next st made. *Pull next 2 loops from working yarn up through next st of round - increase 1 st in next st made. Repeat from * 6 times more. 8 sts increased. 16 sts at end of round.
3rd round: *Increase 1 st in next st. Pull next loop from working yarn up through next st. Repeat from * around. 8 sts increased. 24 sts at end of round.

12th round: Place first loop of round on top of second loop creating double loop - treat this double loop as 1 stitch. Pull next loop from working yarn up through double stitch - Knit 2 sts together decrease made. Work next 8 stitches as usual. *Knit 2 sts together decrease. Work next 8 sts as usual. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Nice Pouf This is a very quick and easy pouf pattern. It only took me a few days to complete, and is small enough to fit underneath my chair, yet large enough to be comfortable for my feet. Instead of buying another pouf for stuffing, I folded an old clean sheet as a liner (of a matching color), like a bowl, and stuffed fiberfill stuffing inside the sheet until firm. I do recommend using a liner of some sorts, however, because only putting stuffing will stick out of the stitches. **But you don't need 3 balls of the yarn- you only need 2.** I finished the pouf on the second ball, with 153 grams of the original 180 left in it. Although I do prefer crocheting over the finger knitting, it is still suitable if you don't know how.
