Big Twist™ Loopity Loops (100% Polyester; 150 gm/5.3 oz 13.9m/15.2 yds)
BCMLS-102 Light Grey – 4 balls
Notions: Tapestry needle, scissors, 10 locking stitch markers, 2 king size pillows for stuffing

GAUGE
5 sts x 5 rows = 4”
Save time, check your gauge.

STITCH GUIDE
Wrap Stitch: Slide the next lp up in front of the next st and lock it in place with a locking stitch marker (2 lps are being held by the marker). When you go back to work these sts, you will be working the loop with the stitch together as one.

Bind off: Starting at the corner where the yarn is not attached, pass the 2nd lp into the 1st lp, then pass the 3rd lp into the 2nd lp, then the 4th lp into the 3rd, etc. all the way across.

NOTES
To attach a new ball of yarn, simple start inserting the new balls first loop into the next available stitch on your blanket. Tie off the tail ends of the strands and weave them in later.

For best results, make sure before you insert each loop into the next, there is not a “twist” in the lp. A twist will result in a less even, more open look.

DIRECTIONS
Starting from the end of the yarn, count off 43 lps.
Setup: Taking the next lp (the 44th loop) in hand, insert the 44th lp from back to front into the 43rd lp.
(1 st is made.)
Rep this process, (you are essentially working from left to right across), inserting the 45th lp into the 42nd lp, the 46th lp into the 41st lp, the 46th lp into the 40th lp, etc. across all the first 43 lps. (43 sts made.)
One row is complete.
Wedge
Row 1: Turn your work so that the lp yarn end coming from the ball is on the left-hand side.
Working from left to right, rep as you did before, taking the next available lp from the yarn ball and inserting it (from back to front) into the last st you made. Rep this across only 52 sts, leaving the last 2 sts unworked. Wrap Stitch, turn work.
Row 2: Work to the last 2 sts, Wrap Stitch, turn work.
Rows 3 and 4: Work to the last 5 sts, Wrap Stitch, turn work.
Rows 5 and 6: Work to the last 10 sts, Wrap Stitch, turn work.
Rows 7 and 8: Work to the last 15 sts, Wrap Stitch, turn work.
Rows 9 and 10: Work to end of row, working the sts with the markers together with their extra loop. Remove the markers once you have worked those sts.
Rep rows 1-10--5 times more.
Work Bind off, starting with the first lp of the row. Cut the last lp and pull through.

FINISHING
Cut some of the loops of the remaining yarn to produce a single strand, approximately 40” long. Thread a tapestry needle and begin seaming the bind off edge with the beginning edge. Once you seamed about halfway, stuff the pouf with the 2 king sizes pillows- folding them both into a “C” shape. You may need to tug here and there to get the shape you desire. Continue to seam until the pouf is complete closed. Weave in all ends.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Review is about project, and not the yarn. This would be easier to understand with a video ... even though there is a description of doing a wrap stitch, it is unclear how to do them with an odd number of loops not worked ? I think these instructions are totally confusing. Love the looping yarn, but this project, not so much.
