Big Twist Loopity Loops (100% Polyester; 150 gm/5.3 oz 13.9m/15.2 yds)- Pastel Multi – 3 balls
Notions: Tapestry needle, scissors, tape measure, sewing needle and thread

STITCH GUIDE
Bind off: Starting with the first lp you made, pass the 2nd lp into the 1st lp, then pass the 3rd lp into the 2nd lp, then the 4th lp into the 3rd, etc. all the way around.
NOTES
To attach a new ball, simple start inserting the new balls first loop into the next available stitch on your blanket. Tie off the tail ends of the strands and weave them in later.
DIRECTIONS
With the end of the yarn, count off 42 lps.
Step 1: Taking the next lp (the 43rd lp) in hand, make a single twist clockwise in the 42nd lp, then insert the 43rd from back to front into the 42nd lp. (1 st is made.)
Rep this process, you are essentially working from left to right across. You will be inserting the 44th lp into the 41st lp, the 45th lp into the 40th lp, the 46th lp into the 39th lp, etc. across all the first 42 lps. (42 sts made.) One row is complete.
Step 2: Working from right to left, rep as you did before, making a single twist clockwise in each stitch before taking the next available lp from the yarn ball and inserting it (from back to front) into the last st you made. Rep this across all 42 sts.
One row complete.
Step 3: Working from left to right, rep as you did in step 2.
Rep Steps 2 and 3, inserting the lps into each stitch from back to front, until blanket measures 32”, end having worked a row from right to left.
Edging: Rotate the work 90 degrees, so that the side edge of the blanket is facing you. Push through the next lp from the ball of yarn, from back to front, into the first side edge st. Working your way down the edge, cont to insert 1 lp (from back to front) into each side edge st down the side.
Rotate the work 90 degrees, so that the starting edge is facing you. Again, insert 1 lp for every sp across the edge.
Rotate the work 90 degrees once again. Insert 1 lp for every sp across the edge. You will now be back at the beg of the piece. Work bind off across all lps. Cut the last lp and pull through to secure. Fasten off.
FINISHING
Weave in all ends. Securely fasten off last lp with a bit of sewing thread and needle.

I'm re-learning to crochet. This is my first real project using finger loop yarn and it was sooo easy. The yarn is soft and easy to work with and few mistakes on my part were easily corrected. I love it!

No previous experience needed
For those who have never crocheted or knitted this is a super quick and easy project, very satisfying! It's also very forgiving as stitches are easy to take out if needed.

Fast and Easy
In the time it would normally take me to crochet a strip 6" high x 32" wide using the normal yarn, I had 2 of these blankets done along with a small square, that I call a lovie, for when the blanket is washed and baby still wants to hold the softness of their blanket. So easy. Goes faster as you work with the yarn.
