DESCRIPTION +

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • One piece of 19" square fleece
  • Two pieces of 19"x 12" fleece
  • Scissors
  • Tape measure
  • Disappearing ink pen

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Lay out the square piece of fleece. Place the two pieces of fleece on top of the square pieces with the edges aligned and the middle of the two pieces overlapping. Pin in place.

  2. Cut away 2" squares from each corner. Cut fringe along each edge that is 1" wide and 2" deep, cutting through both the top and bottom fabrics.

  3. Cut a small hole in the middle of every fringe piece, approximately 1/4" wide.

  4. Starting at one corner, pull the bottom piece of fringe through the small hole in the top piece of fringe. Then alternate by pulling the next top piece of fringe through the hole in the bottom fringe of the piece that was just pulled through the hole. Continue alternating top piece, bottom piece, around the entire blanket.

  5. When there is only one piece of fringe remaining, cut it in half and pull one half through the small hole of the previous piece. Knot the two halves together and tuck in the ends.
