SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Jean jacket
- Acrylic paint (desired colors)
- Pearl beads (assorted colors plus shades of white & blush)
- Large assorted pearl & gem beads
- Embroidery floss
- Large needle (make sure the eye of the needle fits through the bead hole)
- Scissors
- Paint brush
- Water & paper towels for clean up
- Pencil
DIRECTIONS:
- Use a pencil to lay out your script and design on the back of your jacket.
- Paint on the design with coordinating colors.
- Add pearls and gems to the jacket to add interest by sewing them in place with embroidery floss and a needle. Knot so the unfinished edge is on the inside of the jacket.
Craft Hack Tips and Tricks:
- You can add a layer of fabric on the inside by gluing or ironing it in place to cover the threads and secure them in place.
- Make sure your paint is not watery or it will bleed on the fabric.
