HAT
Beginning at lower edge, with larger hook and A, ch 44 (52, 56); join with a slip st to first ch, making sure ch is not twisted. Round 1: Ch 1, sc in each ch around; join with a slip st in back loop of first sc – 44 (52, 56) sc. Round 2: Ch 1, working in back loops only, sc in each sc around; join with a slip st in back loop of first sc. Maintain Stripe Pattern and repeat Round 2 until piece measures 6 (7, 8)” [15 (18, 20) cm] from beginning. Fasten off. Sew a seam straight across the top of the hat. Bumblebee Antenna (Make 2)
With A and smaller hook, ch 4. Fasten off.

Assembly
Sew seam of bumblebee, stuffing with fiber fill before closing seam. Sew wings and antennae to bumblebee in place as shown. Glue wiggle eyes in place. Sew completed bumblebee to center top of hat.
