- 1 ½ yd. – ea. print and solid fleece
- Rotary cutter/Mat
- Scissors
- Ruler
DIRECTIONS:
- Place fleece layers wrong sides together.
- Cut out 5” square from all four corners, cutting both layers at the same time.
- Cut fringe 2 ½” wide and 5” deep.
- Cut the top 2” of each fringe into a point to look like a picket fence through both layers.
- Cut a small slit at the top of each fringe (close to main blanket). Be sure to cut a small slit less than ¼” so when the tabs are pulled through it will be pinched to form bunny ears.
- Insert each double fringe point into the slit from contrast layer through to front.

Little mushroom blanket from
Sweet little easy project
Totally unplanned project. But the mushroom fabric is so cute that I had to buy for my daughter. On my way out of Joanne’s, I found some yarn that looks like it was made for the fabric So, will do a yarn treatment for the edge.

Open mind to be fair
Sewing skill experiences are irrelevant. I have made several no sew blankets: it’s your responsibility to match up the two fabrics by size first ( to verify match, trim as needed); quality of fleece directly related to the price you paid( these are very thin compared to individual fleece fabrics in store, but were super cheap); We all have different reading comprehension when trying to understand technical instructions so go to the many videos for visual aid that are
available on the internet if needed. After reading the cutting technique here I chose to use the more traditional knot tie-off of the fringe. With the thin fleece I was concerned that the cut slit to push the “ears” through would tear over time with usage.

Product said you could sew it
The one piece was smaller then the other. There were no sewing instructions. False advertising.

Cute blanket, horrible instructions
These instructions are trash! I thought this would be a good project for my preteen but the instructions are terrible, thankfully YouTube exists.

Makes no sense...
These instructions make NO sense of you have never made this blanket before and no where does it say to turn the blankets right side out at any point but they say wrong sides to start...

Very cute pattern
This blanket is very cute and easy to make I would love to give it 5 stars but the black solid blanket was 3 inches shorter than the print and was not cut evenly I had to go buy the proper size solid to complete my blanket I’m hoping it was just a fluke thing and others don’t have this issue other than that I loved it
