  • RED HEART® Scrubby™, Art. E833 available in solids 3.5 oz (100 g), 92 yd (85 m), prints 3.0 oz (85 g) 78 yds (71 m) balls

 

Scrubby measures 7" [18 cm] x 7" [18 cm].

 

DISHCLOTH

With A, ch 22. Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across – 21 sc. Row 2: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st to end. Row 3: Ch 4 (counts as dc and ch 1), turn, *skip next st, dc in next st, ch 1; repeat from * to last 2 sts, skip next st, dc in last st. Row 4: Ch 1, turn, sc in each dc and ch-1 space to end. Row 5: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st to end. Repeat Rows 2-5 until piece measures 6" [15 cm] from beginning. Cut and join B.

 

Edging

Round 1: With B, ch 1, sc evenly spaced around edges, working (sc, ch 2, sc) in each corner, slip st in first sc.

Round 2: Ch 1, turn, [sc in each st to next ch-2 space, (sc, ch 2, sc) in ch-2 space] around, slip st in first sc.

Fasten off.
