*Note: Pattern is worked by changing colors for every row. When changing colors, a long tail can be left at the beginning and the end of each row to be incorporated into the fringe.
    Clutch Pattern:
    Ch 38.
Row 1: Hdc in the second chain from hook, hdc in each ch to end of row. Tie off color and add new color. Turn.
Row 2-49: Ch 2, hdc in each st to end of row. Tie off color and add new color. Turn.
Cut several 28" pieces of yarn in each color.
Fold the bottom of the finished crochet piece up 2/3 rds. The top 1/3 of the piece will be the front flap.
Fold one piece of the 28" yarns and attach it through the front and back of the crochet piece along the edge. Attach with a lark's head knot, tightly, also pulling through any tails left on the crocheted piece.
Continue adding fringe up each side of the clutch.
Once the side fringe is complete, trim to an even length.
Begin attaching fringe with two pieces of yarn along the bottom of the front flap.
Once the front fringe is complete, trim to an even length.
