SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Flower stems and greenery
  • Wire cutters
  • Scissors
  • Jute string

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Cut 9 to 12 pieces of rope 30% longer than you wish your finished wall hanging width to be. Group 3-4 strings together and braid them. Tie off each end.
  2. Cut strings in varying lengths. These strings will be folded in half over the braid string, so make them twice as long as desired length.
  3. Cut flowers and greenery into small springs and tie to each end of string.
  4. To attach string to braided piece, fold string in half. Offset the ends for more interest. Slide the loop end underneath the braid, then insert the loose ends through the loop and pull the string tight around the braid. Repeat with all floral strings.
