DESCRIPTION +

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Shadow Box
  • 12x12 Scrapbook paper
  • Wood Slices
  • Family photos
  • Wood alphabet tiles
  • Manila or off-white cardstock
  • Stamp pads in brown shades
  • Hot Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
  • Glue stick

DIRECTIONS:

  1. For the background, cut scrapbook paper to cut shadowbox dimensions. Glue in place.
  2. Take the off-white cardstock and draw a tree silhouette. Cut off your tree. To create a vintage look, lighting stamp the edges of the trees. Do a couple layers of colors from an authentic look. Glue to background paper using glue stick
  3. Cut out round shapes from your photos and glue them to wood slices using glue stick. Arrange as desired and use hot glue to attach to shadowbox
  4. Get creative! Trim and crop your photos in interesting ways and layer them in the piece. Spell out something fun with the alphabet tiles and hot glue to piece
