SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 2 yds fleece fabric in main color, 6"x3" scrap for handle
- Bean bag chair template
- Basic sewing supplies
- Sewing machine with walking foot
- 1 bag Poly-Fil® Biggie 16oz Bean Bag Filler
DIRECTIONS:
- To print the templates, click on the "Download Project PDF" button (above).
- Cut out all pieces of bean bag chair out of main color.
- Sew “seat" to “chair back", matching points of “chair back" (right-sides together) to notches on “seat".
- Sew “seat bottom" to “seat/chair back" piece, right-sides together.
- Fold 6"x 3" rectangle in half, long, wrong sides together. Stitch 1/2" in from raw edge and turn tube right-side out. Pin handle to place as indicated on “chair back" pattern.
- Sew “back" to already sewn pieces (right-sides together), matching short ends of “seat bottom" to edges of “chair back".
- Sew “bottom" to sewn piece, right-sides together, leaving 10" hole for filling.
- Turn chair right-side out and fill piece with entire bag of Poly-Fil® Bean Bag Filler.
- Slip-stitch opening closed.

LOVE IT.I made it with a tie dye fabric now it's in my son's gaming room and he love's it. he asked if I got it from target. and I said no I made it and his face lit up and he said I love it even more.

How to make a fleece bean bag chair with handle
While reading the supplies I needed it didn’t seem like they were advising me to purchase the correct amount of fabric for the project. I went to the views and m glad I did. Seems like from reviews posted that I wouldn’t dream of trying to make this.

Unfinished pattern
I want to make this beanbag chair! But the pattern is essentially worthless without enlargement instructions, markings, and clear directions. Very disappointed.

Fleece Star Bean Bag Chair
The pattern on the PDF has not instructions as to how to enlarge and to what size. Also the instructions say "match the notches" there are none on the PDF pattern.

This is a miss, but has potential!
When I got this project in my email this morning, I was very interested - but as everyone else has said the pattern is unlabeled, at the wrong scale, and generally seems unfinished. In addition, the materials call for only one color of fleece, but there are obviously two colors used.
I do hope you can rework the pattern so this can be useful - it looks like a lot of fun!
