SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Floral wire
  • Wire cutters
  • Hot glue gun/glue gun sticks
  • 6' eucalyptus leaf garlands, 4
  • 66" Dusty Miller grapevine garland, 4
  • 66" white peony & baby’s breath garlands, 2
  • 66" lamb's ear & berry garland, 4
  • 3 peach cabbage rose stems
  • 3 pink cabbage rose stems
  • 1 pink hanging berry bush
  • 2 green hydrangea bush

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Begin by laying out 2 of the eucalyptus garlands and attaching the ends using the floral wire. This will form a long 10' to 12' garland.
  2. Lay 2 of the grapevine garland on top of the eucalyptus garland. Incorporate the two garlands and attach them to each other using floral wire.
  3. Lay the 2 baby’s breath garlands on top of the base garland and attach them together using wire.
  4. The remaining eucalyptus and lamb's ear garland stands can be separated and cut into clusters. These clusters can be added to the main garland to enlarge it and become more fuller. Attach by using the floral wire.
  5. Cut the floral heads away from their main stem leaving approximately 2" to 3" of stem to the head. Insert these throughout the garland and place them in desired locations.
  6. When desired look is achieved, attach the floral to the garland using the hot glue gun.

Craft Hack Tips and Tricks:

  • When working with long garlands, it is easiest to work on the floor or a very long table.
  • When attaching the multiple garlands, try to hide the wire as best as possible behind or under the greenery. Find a spot to wire where it will be hidden from view.
  • When placing the flowers on the garland, it is best to save the smaller floral for the ends and the bigger, fuller floral for the middle. This gives the garland a tapered look.
  • When hot gluing the floral, remember to protect your work service or the carpet.
