- Crochet Hook: 5mm [US I-9].
- Yarn needle; purchased blanket-weight fleece cut to 54” x 54”; sewing needle and thread.
- GAUGE: 12 sts = 4” in pattern. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.
- RED HEART® “Super Saver®”, Art. E300 available in solid color 7 oz (198 g), 364 yd (333 m); multicolor, heather and print 5 oz (141 g), 244 yd (223 m); flecks 5 oz (141 g), 260 yd (238 m) skeins.
Edging Foundation
Row 1 (Right Side): With A, ch 8; dc in 6th ch from hook, [ch 1, skip next ch, dc in next ch]; turn. Row 2: Ch 4 (counts as dc, plus ch 1), dc in next dc, ch 1, skip next ch, dc in next ch of beginning ch-6; turn. Row 3: Ch 4, dc in next dc, ch 1, dc in 3rd ch of ch-4; turn. Repeat Row 3 until edging fits around outer edge of blanket. Fasten off.

Edging Frill
With right side facing and working across one long edge into top of dc or into top of ch-3, join A in 4th ch of begin- ning ch-6; ch 3 (counts as dc), 4 dc in same st, * 5 dc in top of next dc or ch-3; repeat from * across. Fasten off.

Outer Edging
With right side facing, join B in top of beginning ch-3; ch 1, sc in same st as joining, * ch 3, sc in next dc; repeat from * across. Fasten off.

Finishing
Sew ends of edging together. Weave in ends. Sew edging around blanket, using sewing needle and thread.
