SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Garden Jardin Paint pots
  • Small & medium paintbrushes
  • 1 pad of Canson Watercolor paper
  • Water containers
  • Paper towels

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Using photo as a guide, paint flowers on the paper using the paint pots, making sure to leave space around the flowers.
  2. Make sure you use a lot of water to dilute the paint until it looks like watercolors and is transparent. Let areas dry completely before painting the adjoining areas.
  3. Use a detailed, pointed brush to create fun squiggle lines around the flowers and leaves.
  4. Use a pencil to draw the base of the lettering before painting it.

  • Use more water you use keeps the colors more transparent. You want a light feel to the painting.
  • Take your time in writing the lettering. Use a pencil first to give you a guide where to paint the lettering.
