SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 2 yds Home Decorator fabric
- 5 1/2 yds cording
- 1 1/2 yds Warm & Natural® batting (optional)
- 2 bags (2 1/2 cubic feet) beanbag filler
- Bias strips
- Basic sewing supplies
DIRECTIONS:
- Cut two 25"x 25" pieces of fabric and optional batting for top and bottom.
- Cut four 25"x 13" pieces of fabric and optional batting for sides.
- Optional: pin or baste batting to WS of all pieces.
- Cut enough bias strips 1 1/2" wide to total 200" for cording cover.
- Sew bias strips together.
- Fold bias strips over cording and sew to top and bottom pieces using 1/2" seam allowance.
- With RST, sew all 4 sides together.
- With RST, sew sides to top then to bottom matching corners and leaving an 8" to 10" opening in one side for turning and filling.
- Clip corners and turn right side out. (If using batting, trim batting close to seam.)
- Fill to desired firmness with beanbag filler and slipstitch opening closed.
