DESCRIPTION +

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
Canvas
Brushes (Various sizes)
Paint
Pencil
Inspiration Photo (optional)
White Paint marker
Other materials to use as a paint brush

DIRECTIONS:
Go outside and find a spot in nature that you love, or find a photo of a scene in nature that inspires you. Using your surroundings or photo as inspiration,  lightly draw a design onto a canvas with a pencil.
Paint over your pencil design with colors that you like. Once all the paint is dry add details and outline the different elements with a white paint marker.

Craft Hack Tips and Tricks:
Work while the paint is wet to blend colors and create an ombre effect, which means that the colors are different shades that blend into each other. Paint in layers to add depth and dimension.
Try using different items for paint brushes to give you different textures. Fruits and vegetables can be cut and used as stamps, and you can even use your fingers to create cool effects.

Notes:
Painting outside? Whether you do it in the morning, mid-day, or afternoon, notice how the light will make the colors look different.
