DIRECTIONS:

STITCH EXPLANATION:
rev sc (reverse single crochet) Single crochet worked from left to right (right to left, if left-handed). Insert hook into next stitch to the right (left), under loop on hook, and draw up a loop. Yarn over and draw through all loops on hook.

NOTE:
Three Squares are worked separately, then crocheted together to make the Wrap.

MITERED SQUARES (make 3)
Wrap yarn around index finger. Insert hook into ring on finger, yarn over and draw up a loop. Carefully slip ring from finger and work the stitches of Row 1 into the ring.
Row 1: Ch 3 (counts as dc), (dc, ch 3, 2 dc) in ring - you will have 4 dc and a center ch-3 sp in this row. Gently but firmly, pull tail to tighten center of ring.
Row 2: Ch 4 (counts as dc, ch 1), turn, sk next dc, (2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc) in center ch-3 sp, ch 1, sk next dc, dc in top of beg ch-3 - 6 dc, 2 ch-1 sps and a center ch-3 sp (3 dc and 1 ch-1 sp on each side of center ch-3 sp).

Join Squares
Arrange Squares following diagram, matching ch-1 sps along side edges of neighboring Squares.
From WS, beg at outer edge of Wrap and working through both thicknesses, join yarn in top of first dc at beg of one joining line, **working through both thicknesses, *ch 1, sk next ch-1 sp, sl st in next dc; rep from * all the way across edge to join Squares ***, sl st in corner ch-3 sp of one Square, then working through both thicknesses, sl st in first dc at beg of next side edges to be joined, rep from ** to ***.
Do NOT fasten off.

Border
Turn piece over to work from RS.
Rnd 1 (RS): Working all the way around outside edge of Wrap, ch 1, *rev sc in end of next row or ch-1 sp, ch 2, sk next dc (do not sk next row if working in ends of rows); rep from * all the way around; join with sl st in beg ch-1.
