NOTES:
Panels I and II are worked separately, then joined by working a 3-needle bind-off.
The Lace patterns can be worked by following the written instructions or the charts. When working from charts, read RS rows from right to left and WS rows from left to right.
To print the charts, click on the "Download Project PDF" button (above).
The sts on each row of the charts and written instructions are the same. But, you may notice that the repeats on the charts do not always begin and end in the same place as the reps in written instructions. This is because the charts show 2 full reps and the rep box is placed to emphasize the "look" of a full rep. The written instructions include less than 2 full reps and the rep is placed to reduce the length of each instruction.

PANEL I:
Cast on 69 sts.
Next Row (WS): K3, p to last 3 sts, k3.

Beg with Row 1 of pattern, work in Lace Pattern I for 17 reps of the 12-row rep (204 rows).
Rep Rows 1-11 of Lace Pattern I.
Last Row (Decrease Row - WS): K3, p2tog, p to last 5 sts, p2tog, k3 - you will have 67 sts in this row.
Cut yarn, leaving a long yarn tail.
Leave sts on needle and set aside.

PANEL II:
Cast on 67 sts.
Next Row (WS): K3, p to last 3 sts, k3.

Beg with Row 1 of pattern, work in Lace Pattern II for 9 reps of the 24-row rep, for 216 rows.
Keep sts on needle, but do NOT cut yarn.

3-Needle Bind Off
With RS of Panels together and needles pointing in same direction, hold both needles in your left hand. With a spare needle, knit tog 1 st from each needle, *knit tog 1 st from each needle, pass first st worked over 2nd to bind off; rep from * across until all sts are bound off.
Cut yarn and pull through last st to secure.

FINISHING
Weave in ends.
