SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Fabric - 2yds
  • Iron
  • Sewing machine
  • Sewing notions
  • Rotary cutter & board or scissors
  • Quilters rule
  • Marking pen
  • Pillow forms - 12"x 18" or Poly-Fil stuffing

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Envelope style lumbar pillow - 12"x 18"
  2. Cut one fabric 13"x 42" (height of pillow size plus 1" x width of pillow size x 2 plus 6")
  3. Fold short ends of fabric to back 1/4" then another 1/4" and sew. This will encase the raw edges.

  4. Lay fabric RS up, centered on cutting board. Measure out from the center on lower edge of fabric 1/2 the width of the pillow. Fold sides toward center, overlapping ends, with folds at the marks, to a finished width of the pillow form width.
  5. Pin and sew 1/2" SA.
  6. Clip corners. Turn RSO. Press out corners and fill.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lumbar pillow instructions I haven’t made it yet but for those of us that are visual learners I would love a video of this process. ♥️
