Girl's Dress

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• 3 yds (depending on size of dress) 3" or 4" fringe
• Chalk
• Sewing notions
• Simplicity® 1435

DIRECTIONS:

All seams are 5/8" unless stated.

1. Measurements for placement of fringe: Mark with chalk a straight line across the width of skirt up 2" from the hem line, then measure up 3" from the 2" mark, then measure up 3" from the 3" line. Draw a straight line around width of dress.
2. Starting at the center back, sew fringe on the chalk marking staring with the bottom tier. Fold fringe over at center back to finished fringe. Continue making three tiers of fringe overlapping each tier by 1".
