How To Make A Monogram Corkboard

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • 1 package 12"x12" cork tiles
  • Craft knife
  • Permanent marker
  • Acrylic paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Painter’s tape
  • Hot glue gun and sticks

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Sketch or trace letter outline onto the back of two cork tiles. Make sure letter is mirrored so that it will be the correct direction from the front.
  2. Use the craft knife to cut out letters from both tiles. There should now be two cork letter shapes.
  3. Glue the two letters together using hot glue.
  4. Use painter’s tape to tape-off painted design. Paint design using acrylic paint.
  5. Allow paint to dry before displaying and using.
