SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
Headband
Unfinished Wood Stars
DecoArt Dazzling Metallics, Mettalic Acrylic Paint, Champagne Gold or Shimmering Silver
Darice Wired Accents, Aluminum Floral Wire, 12 Gauge, Gold or Silver
Fab Lab Craft, 15 Chenille Stems, 9mm x 12”, Gold or Silver
Gold or Silver Glitter
Wire Cutters
Paint Brush
Mod Podge
Hot Glue
 
DIRECTIONS:
 
Paint two small, two medium, and one large wood star with gold or silver paint. Allow to dry.  
 Cover one side of each star with a layer of mod podge. Sprinkle with gold or silver glitter. Allow to dry.
Cut a length of gold or silver wire 36”
Fold the wire in half. With one half of the wire, wrap the end around one side of the headband, then arc the wire over the top of the headband. Wrap the middle of the wire around the other side of the headband, then arc the wire back to the first side, over the first wire, and wrap the end around the headband.
Wrap the entire headband with gold or silver pipe cleaners.
Hot glue the largest star to the middle of the wires. Hot glue the two medium sized stars on either side. Hot glue the small stars on either end.
 
JOANN Hacks:
 
Several coats of paint may be needed to fully cover the wood stars
