  • Caron Simply Soft, various colors (choose colors and assign temperature ranges based on the climate where you live)
  • Crochet hook, H8/5.00mm
  • Yarn needle
  • Scissors

DIRECTIONS:

Create a blanket, one row each day throughout the year. Every day, add a row to the hexagon based on the temperature of the day. At the end of the week there will be a finished hexagon. Sew the hexagons together to create a blanket.

Crochet Hexagon Pattern:
Create a magic ring.
Row 1: Ch 3, dc, ch 2, * 2dc, ch 2, repeat from * five times, sl st into top of ch 3.
Row 2: Ch 3, dc in next st, *(dc, ch 2, dc) all in ch 2 space, dc in next 2 sts, repeat from * around, sl st in top of ch 3.
