SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Assorted printed cardstock size 12"x 12"
  • Green cardstock size 12"x 12"
  • Tombow glue bottle (green lid)
  • Floral wire stem
  • Roll of floral tape
  • Scissors Hot glue gun and glue sticks
  • Wire cutters
  • Cricut® machine

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Using your Tombow, glue two printed cardstock sheets together.
  2. On your Cricut® machine, cut out base flowers on flower print cardstock (set your Cricut® dial machine to slightly past the heavy cardstock).
  3. On your Cricut® machine, cut out leaves using green cardstock.
  4. Take a floral stem wire and punch it thru the bottom of the base flower.
  5. Twist the wire thru the flower, in a round flat circle to make a base for the flower to attach. Hot glue the wire circle to the center of the base.
  6. Fold the petals into the natural shape of how a flower grows.
  7. Take the next layer of printed flower and glue it on top of the first base.
  8. Form and glue the centers onto the flower.
  9. Take the smaller leaves and floral tape them around the base of the flower.
  10. Go farther down the stem and floral tape additional and slightly larger leaves onto the stem.
  11. Snip the ends of each flower to the length you desire.

JOANN Hacks:

  • Use a metal ruler to fold a strong crease into the petals or score them on the Cricut® machine as you cut them. Fold the petals on each layer before you glue the flowers together. You can mix up the front and back patterns of each layer to create more interest.
