SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
  • Sewing machine
  • Sewing notions
  • Scissors
  • Fleece: Yellow 3 1/2 yards, Brown 1/3 yard, Red 1/2 yard
  • Poly-fil, Fiber Fill - 10 oz.
  • Tacky Glue

DIRECTIONS:
  1. Cut all fleece parts.
  2. Pin red, good side of fabric to back of yellow wide top edge and sew 1/4” from edge of curves on red. Trim the yellow edge to match the red edge curves. Turn red panel to front of cheese panel. This will bury the seam. Pin along this buried seam pulling out the curves. Sew 1/4” from the edge.
  3. Pin the bottom edge of the red to the yellow and zigzag along the edge to secure.
  4. Cut out five pepperoni circles. Lay on yellow in a random pattern and attach each with a pin. Flip one over at a time to expose the backs. Starting in the center of the pepperoni circle, apply a spiral of Tacky Glue up to 1/2” from the edge (zigzag stitching will be done after the glue is dry). Flip the pepperoni into place and press. Attach all pepperonis and let dry overnight on a flat surface.
  5. Using second yellow sheet line up the right side of the brown long edge to the back of the yellow. Pin and sew 1/2“ from edge.
  6. Fold the brown forward to right side of yellow. Fold under 1/2” of cut edge of brown, line up and cover the seam of brown and yellow. Pin and sew.
  7. On one end of brown pillow, fold in cut edges 1/2” and sew close to the edge. Fold in the other end partially — only 2” up from the seam between the yellow and brown. Sew and leave the top section open for stuffing later.
  8. Once the glue on the pepperoni circles has dried use a zigzag stitch to secure all in place.
  9. Lay the pepperoni panel and the crust/pillow panel right sides together, matching up the bottom curves of yellow and the top edge of red sauce to the bottom edge of the brown crust. Pin all around the yellow edges and sew 5/8” in from edge.
  10. Turn right side out.
  11. Stuff the pillow with fiber fill. Do not overstuff. Pin the open end closed folding cut edges in 1/2”. Sew closed close to edge.
