GIFT CARD HOLDER

Card Holder (Make 2) With A, ch 17. Row 1: Sc in second chain from hook and next 15 ch. Rows 2-4: Ch 1, turn, sc in each of the next 16 sc. Fasten off. Join B. Rows 5-6: Ch 1, turn, hdc in each of the next 16 sts.

Fasten off. Join A. Rows 7-10: Ch 1, turn, sc in each of the next 16 sts. Fasten off.

Buckle

With C, ch 8; join with a slip st to form a ring. Round 1: Ch 1, 3 sc in ring, ch 2, 4 sc in ring, ch 2, 3 sc in ring, ch 2, 4 sc in ring, ch 2; slip st to first sc to join. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for seaming later.

FINISHING

With yarn needle and long tail, and using the photo for placement, attach the buckle to the center belt on the front of the gift card holder. Place the front and back of the gift card holder together with wrong sides facing. Join to the top left corner of both pieces. (Do not join the top long edge. It will remain open.) Working down the short edge of the card holder, sc in each row of the next 10 rows, sc into same corner st, sc in each of the next 16 sts across the long edge, 2 sc into corner st, sc in each of the next 9 sts along short edge.

Fasten off. With yarn needle, weave in all loose ends.
