SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Cricut Explore™
- Assorted cardstock
- Cricut® standard mats
- Foam mounts
- Markers/Cricut pens
- Tweezers (optional)
- Quick gry glue
- Measuring tape
DIRECTIONS:
- Choose canvas: measure the appropriate area of size needed to craft on (for this project we used a canvas that was 36"x 48").
- Insert fish image.
- Manipulate the image by inserting a circle and placing it over the eye completely and highlighting entire fish and use the weld tool. This will fill in the fish.
- Insert gills image.
- Place over fish and highlight entire image and select slice, this will cut little gills over the fish.
- Duplicate the fish 5 times and change each color to a different shade of blue.
- Adjust the first blue fish to approx 1/2", and duplicate approx. 40 times.
- Adjust the next blue fish to approx 1 inch and duplicate approx. 30 times.
- Adjust the next blue fish to approx 2 inches and duplicate approx. 30 times.
- Adjust the next blue fish to approx 3 inches and duplicate approx. 20 times.
- Adjust the next blue fish to approx 4 inches and duplicate approx. 20 times.
- Get your shades of cardstock laid out to match the 5 shades of blue fish.
- Cut with the Cricut.
- Bend the gills and fins and bend sides of fish.
- Attach to board using foam mounts, quick dry glue & tweezers (if needed).

This looks like it would be a great project for my after-school program kids, too bad there are no links or patterns. I could browse pinterest if all I wanted was pretty pictures of what might be possible.
