FINISHING
Vertical Surface Sl St Lines: With RS facing, join B with sl st to foundation row aligned with center sc of first A section. Keeping yarn at back (WS) of work, sl st into each ch-1 sp in alternate rows above joining sp to create a straight vertical chain of surface sl sts to end of Scarf, taking care to sl st loosely to avoid buckling work as you stitch. Fasten off. Rep Vertical Surface Sl St Line in 2nd A section. With A, rep Vertical Surface Sl St Line in center of MC section. Fasten off.
Fringe: Cut lengths of MC, A and B 14" [35.5 cm] long. Taking 3 strands tog, match fringe to color in pat at ends of Scarf, having 1 fringe at each Vertical Surface Sl St Line, 2 fringes in each side of A sections, and 3 fringes in each side of MC sections. Trim fringe evenly.
