Simply Chocolate and Vanilla Layer Cake

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Favorite white cake mix (2 boxes needed)
• Wilton® It's Simply Delicious Chocolate Icing
• Wilton® It's Simply Delicious Vanilla Icing
• Fresh strawberries, for garnish
• 8"x 2" round cake pan
• Cooling grid
• 9" angled spatula

DIRECTIONS:

1. Prepare cake batter following recipe instructions. Bake and cool three cake layers. Level cakes to top of pan.
2. Decorate cake. Using spatula, ice bottom layer with chocolate icing, leaving sides of cake exposed. Chill until set, about 15 to 20 minutes. Reserve remaining chocolate icing.
3. Place middle cake layer on top of chocolate icing. Ice middle layer with vanilla icing, leaving sides of cake exposed. Chill until set, about 20 minutes.
4. Place top layer on top of vanilla icing. Ice top layer with remaining chocolate icing. Top with fresh strawberries.
