Spring Floral Hanging Chandelier

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Yong Heng Da Handworks Limited, 18" Wire Disk Golden Color, one
• Oriental Craft, Large Triple Chain Hanger, one
• Pliers
• Floral wire, 22 gauge
• Wire cutters
• Floral tape
• Elmer's Glue-All
• Scissors
• Floral picks:
• Dahlia Rose Berry Pick, four with spike petals, four with round petals
• Peony Short Stem, four
• Dusty Miller Leaf Pick (with berries), five
• Dusty Miller Leaf Pick, seven
• Eucalyptus Stem Green, two
• Dusty Miller Spray Green, 25", two
• 42" Extra Large Stem Dusty Miller Spray, two

DIRECTIONS:

1. Lay the wreath frame dome side up.
2. Use pliers to bend the three hooks on the Chain Hanger to the wreath frame on to the cross bars, equal distance apart.
3. Cut sixteen 10"-12" pieces of wire.
4. Cut the four Peony picks into two stems each.
5. Twist tie the wire on to the stems of the eight Dahlia picks and the eight Peony picks.
6. Lay the picks around the wire wreath some flowers facing out and some facing up. Keep these picks on the top and the outside ring of the wreath.
7. Bend the stems to contour to the curve of the wreath frame. Spiral the wires around the stems and the wire frame to secure in place.
8. If possible hang the wreath for the addition of the greenery picks.
9. Add wires to the five Dusty Miller picks with berries and the seven Dusty Miller Leaf picks. Cluster these picks between the flowers. Keep these picks toward the top and outer edges of the wreath frame. Do not add any of these picks to the inner circle of the frame. Bend the stems and spiral the wires around the stems and the wire frame to secure in place. This step should produce a full arrangement look from the sides.
10. Cut in to separate stems:
11. Dusty Miller Spray Green, two in to six stems (push all leaves toward the end of the stems)
12. Eucalyptus Stem Green, two in to twelve stems
13. 42" Extra Long Stem Dusty Miller Spray, two in to ten stems (cut off lowest leaves to be used later)
14. Cut 28 pieces of wire 8"-10" long. Twist tie one wire to each of the stems from step 9.
15. Use the Dusty Miller to fill the inner circle of the wire frame.
16. Use the Eucalyptus stems to fill in any spaces and to drape from the outer edge of the frame.
17. Use the 42" Extra Large Dusty Miller for height between all the other greenery.
18. Flip the wreath over to work on the back. Wrap floral tape around all the wire and stems on the inner and outer rings of wreath. At the end of each spiral of floral tape add a small amount of Elmer's Glue-All to secure the tape.
19. In the center of the back of the wreath frame add small amounts of hot glue and apply the cut off leaves to cover any visible wires.

JOANN Hacks:

• When adding the wires to the individual picks thread the wire around the base of the lowest leaf and the stem then twist. This will keep the wire from slipping along the length of the stem.
• Cut 18" pieces of floral tape to wrap the underside of the wreath.
