SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 1/2yd floral fabric
- Long-sleeved T-shirt
- 1/2yd removable stabilizer
- Sewing machine
- Basic sewing supplies
- State and elbow patch template
DIRECTIONS:
- Cut out state and elbow patches using templates.
- To print the templates, click on the "Download Project PDF" button (above).
- Find desired spot of state applique and elbow patches and pin into place with stabilizer behind them.
- Open sleeve seams as much as needed for applique to lay flat to sew. Sew appliques to shirt using a satin stitch (4 width, .5 length on most machines).
- Close sleeve seams and tear away excess stabilizer.
