Centerpiece

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Ivy garland strands (2)
  • 29" Wild Daisy, red
  • 26" Skimmia spray, white (3)
  • 27" PomPom spray, red (3)
  • 40" Princess Delphinium spray stems (2)
  • 26" Mini Rose spray, blue (3)
  • Floral tape
  • Wire cutters
  • Hot glue gun & glue sticks

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Lay the two ivy garlands, in opposite directions, side by side on a large table. Connect the two ivy garlands using floral tape. Fluff the ivy leaves and intertwine them to make it look like one garland.
  2. Starting with the larger flowers, cut them from the main stem leaving an inch or so of stem attached to the flowers. Lay them in desired locations all along the ivy garland. Attach the flowers using floral tape to the ivy garland.
  3. Continue this process with the other flowers, except for the red PomPom’s.
  4. Cut the red PomPom flowers from the main bush leaving an inch or two of stem attached to the flower. Attach these by holding the flower head up and wrapping the stem around the ivy garland stem. Use hot glue to secure these flowers in place so they are sitting upright instead of laying on the garland.
  5. Fill in the garland with the remaining flowers and foliage until desired look is achieved.
  6. Cut off the wire ends of the garland and hide the cut by hot gluing a leaf to each end.
