SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • 1 16"x20" frame
  • Floral netting
  • Hot glue gun and glue sticks
  • Wire cutters
  • Razor blade or box cutter
  • 22 gauge floral wire
  • 1 Peony bush, dark purple
  • 6 Leaves hanging bush
  • 1 Moody Rose bush, pink
  • 1 Hydrangea bush, silk with taupe
  • 1 Mauve Mum bush
  • 1 Ranunculus bush, grey 18"
  • 2 Osmanthus bush, purple

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Remove backing and glass from the frame. Use a box cutter or razor blade to cut through any pieces that are attached to the frame.
  2. Place frame horizontally on your work station. Insert a piece of netting into the bottom left corner of the frame. Attach the netting to the frame using the 22 gauge floral wire. Wrap a piece of floral wire through the netting around the frame to attach it in place. The netting will need to be attached tightly and in multiple places to hold it steady.
  3. Begin to insert the larger floral into netting. Trim the flowers from the main stem, leaving 4"-5" of stem attached to the flower head. Insert and fish the stems through the netting. Continue this with different types, sizes and colors of floral until the desired arrangement is achieved.
  4. Some floral will be left with longer stems as those will be arranged up the sides of the frame. They may not fit tightly into the netting. Use hot glue to attach those longer stems to the frame.
  5. Turn frame over to its backside and use the hot glue to secure the floral to the netting and to feed any stems through that are poking out of the netting.
  6. Turn frame back over and add any greens to fill in or cover any netting that may be showing.
  7. Add floral and greenery to the upper right corner. Use hot glue only to attach these flowers and greenery to the frame.

JOANN Hacks:

  • When desgining the upper right corner, set out or place the flowers on the frame before hot gluing them to the frame.
