  • Air-dry clay

DIRECTIONS:
  1. Roll out clay to about 1/4" thick. Cut shape out of clay using a cookie cutter or wood skewer. Stamp initials into clay using rubber stamps. Poke a hole for stringing at the top of the clay shape. Set clay aside to dry according to the directions on the package.
  2. Separate beads to dye, and beads to leave natural.
  3. To dye beads, mix 1/2 cup of dye with 2 cups very hot water in a disposable container. Add beads to dye and stir for about 5 minutes or until desired color is reached. Beads will lighten as they dry. Quickly rinse beads under cool water and than spread onto paper towels to dry.
  4. Cut 2 pieces of twine 10" long. Tie in a double knot around the key ring.
  5. Once beads and clay have dried, string onto twine using photo as a guide. Knot ends of twine securely, then trim to about 3/4" long.
