SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Patterned Paper Pad
  • Stickers
  • Alphabet Thickers™

  • Bone Folder (scoring tool)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Add adhesive to the flap of the first envelope and then align the next envelope directly onto the first, making sure it's perfectly even on all sides. Repeat the process with all additional envelopes.
  2. Trim down two pieces of chipboard to 4-1/2"x6".
  3. Choose 4 papers; trim to 4-1/2" x6". These will be the front/back, inside/outside of the book.
  4. Adhere 2 of those 4 pieces, 1 to each side of your chipboard pieces for the front and back cover.
  5. Cut your spine piece to 3"x6" and score, 1" from the right and again 1-1/2" from the right.
  6. Adhere the 1" section of your spine to the front cover aligning the left edge of the cover with the first 1" score.
  7. Repeat on the back cover, adhering spine to the 1-1/2" score.
  8. Adhere the flap of the last envelope to the inside back cover. Add a 4-1/2" x 6" paper over the flap, covering the entire inside back cover.
  9. Using the envelope template trace the V from the envelope onto the last 4-1/2" x 6" paper; adhere the front of the first envelope to the inside front cover; then layer the paper, covering the entire inside front cover.
  10. Add photos on the right side of each envelope.
  11. Additional photos and stories can be tucked into each envelope.
  12. Embellish the cover of the book with chipboard letters, and an embossed sticker.
  13. Add stickers as desired to each page/story.
