    Banana Shirt
  1. Use a marker to draw the outline of banana peel at the bottom front of the shirt. Cut through both layers on the drawn lines.
  2. Cut felt strips 1/2" wide by the length of the felt sheet.
  3. Hot glue felt strips to shirt along the edges of the raw cut edges.
  4. Extend the white felt strips up the shirt to the neck line to make the shape of a banana.
  5. Fold up sleeves twice and use a dot of glue to keep in place.
  6. Use the circle pattern to cut out the round blue sticker. Glue to shirt.
  7. For the text on the banana sticker, it would be cute to personalize this to the costume wearer's name. Instead of hand-cutting letters from felt, use white letter stickers and glue on with glue gun so letter do not come off.
  8. Optional: Use the die cut machine to cut out a circle using the shape tool in Design Space and size to desired dimensions.
  9. Use the text tool to type out JOANNA'S BANANAS or desired font.

      1. Banana Headband
      2. Cut out patterns (yellow banana is two layers of felt for stability) and glue together according to the marking on the pattern.
      3. TIP: Make the brown stem first and then wrap the yellow banana pieces around the stem.
      4. Stuff banana with fiberfill and glue on the base so it stays in.
      5. Glue banana top to headband. Use a scrap piece of felt to conceal the headband, glue on with hot glue.

          1. Strawberry Shirt
          2. Use pattern to trace and cut about 60 seeds out of white felt.
          3. Place all seeds on the front of red shirt. Once placement is done, start to glue on with hot glue gun.
          4. Fold up sleeves twice and use a dot of glue to keep in place.

              1. Strawberry Headband
              2. Use patterns to cut out leaves and stem.
              3. Start with the stem by rolling up the green pattern piece around the top of two chenille stems. Glue closed.
              4. Wrap the bottom of the chenille stems around the middle of the headband to the stems sticks up straight. Slightly curve stem to the right or left.
              5. Glue on all leaves to headband.
