  • 1 Light Pink Loop Yarn Ball
  • 1 Pink Loop Yarn Ball
  • 1 Plant Ceramic Pot
  • Floral Foam
  • Assorted Succulents
  • Stitch Marker
  • Craft knife
  • Floral Cutters

DIRECTIONS:
Plant Hanger Note: The start of the plant hanger with the loopy yarn will be worked in a circle starting in the center of the base of the flower pot.

Make a chain with the first loops of yarn. Take the 2nd loop through the first and the 3rd through the 2nd lp
Work with the next loop and insert into space made by the loop chain. Insert loops on one side of chain around to the opposite side and back to beginning finishing with a total of 7 loops.
Mark the last loop with a pin or stitch marker.
Bind Off: Work the 2nd loop into 1st the 3rd loop into 2nd loop. To end. Ending with 1 loop.
Work with the next loop from ball and continue around circle, evenly space 10 loops.
Bind Off these loops as worked in #4. Move the marker or pin up each row.
Continue adding loops around circle. Evenly space the loops around and bind off until the circle matches the size of the bottom of your pot.
When the base is the size desired, pull up loops once again around circle. These will then be worked in a knit or purl stitch.
To knit, place the working yarn loops behind the base and pull through from the back to front.
To purl, place the working yarn loops in front of the loops to work and pull through front to back.
As you are working up the side of pot, increase the size if needed by adding an extra loop into some of the loops around the circle.
Continue working until you have reached the height of the pot.
To change color of yarn, stop at end of round and pick up new color by working the first loop into next loop of plant hanger. Leave a few loops at end of first yarn and beginning of next working yarn so you can weave these ends in at the end of project.
Bind off the loops and cut yarn leaving 2 or 3 loops to weave into finished plant hanger.
For the handles, pull 2 loops through the top of hanger and loop together with the next loop.
Make a chain of 20 loops by inserting the 2nd loop into 1st loop, 3rd loop into 2nd loop until 20 loops are made. Put a pin through the last loop worked, and cut yarn leaving 3 or 4 loops.
Make 2 more chains and space evenly around top.
Take the 3 finished chains and carefully cut the extra loops apart.
Wrap the 3 chains together just under the 3 top loops (which will be used for hanging) with the cut pieces.
Tie and weave in ends.
Potted Succulent Using the craft knife cut the floral foam to fit tightly into the ceramic pot Trim succulents and arrange in desire design in the ceramic pot
