SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 1 1/2 yds solid fleece & coordinating fleece
- Rotary cutter and mat
- Basic sewing supplies
DIRECTIONS:
- Cut fleece to measure 45"x 60"
- With RST, pin fleece together
- Stitch around cut edges using a 1/2" seam, leaving an opening for turning.
- Turn blanket.
- Sew opening closed.
- Top stitch around blanket 1/2" in from edge.

HOLIDAY FLEECE PLAID BLANKET
I bought 4 yards of fleece a few months back when it was on sale. I rescue animals and found that in the colder times they try to snuggle in my quilts and blankets. So I wanted to make them these blankets because they are smaller in size, can be washed easily and often, and keep my rescues happy.
