DIRECTIONS:
  1. Cushions

  2. Trace two 14” circles on the foam. Cut using an electric knife.
  3. Cut two 20” circles of batting. Wrap a single layer of batting around each of the two foam circles. Attach using hot glue only on the one side of the foam. Set aside.

  4. Ruffles

  5. Cut two 3 1/2” x 1 ? yard strips of the darker color of fleece. An even line may be achieved by laying a strip of tape to mark the 3 ?”, then cutting along the edge of the tape. Sew the bias tape along the long edge of the strips. Sew both edges of the bias tape leaving the ends open. Cut 2, 18” pieces of elastic. Safety pin one end of the elastic to the end of the fabric. Attach another safety pin to the other end of the elastic. Thread the pin with elastic through the bias tape sleeve. Sew the ends of the elastic together 5/8” from the end. Sew the ends of the width of the fleece together. Start at the outside edge and sew up to the bias tape sleeve. Make two ruffles. Set aside.
  6. Lay one 15” dark color circle with dots around the edges right side up. Center one 8” piece of cardboard on top. Layer one 14” light/contrast color circle on top. Pin around the edges of the cardboard. Sew close to edge of cardboard to hold it in place. Make two.
  7. Layer the two cardboard and fabric sections with light/contrast colors together. (Image 3) Pin and sew close to cardboard.
  8. Lay flat on table and fold in and pin all except the bottom, 15” dark color fabric layer. Take one 19” dark color circle and layer on top with right side toward the table. Match up the dots on the two dark color circles. Between the dots match centers of spaces and pin. Leave two of the spaces or ? of the overall circle open to turn. (Image 5) Sew around the circle with a 1/2” seam allowance. Notch curve and turn right side out.
  9. Lay entire piece on table with single 15” circle on the bottom. Fold all the other layers together and pin toward the center. Take the last 19” dark color circle and apply to the 15” circle same as the other. (Image 6) Line up the dots, equally space pins between the dots, leave the opening to turn right side out and sew around edge. Notch the curve and turn right side out.
  10. Place the foam and batting forms inside of the two pillow pockets. Hand stitch the pillows closed.
  11. Add the ruffles to the space between the pillow form and the light/contrast color fabric.
