DESCRIPTION +

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Large metal cake stand
  • Small metal cake stand
  • All-purpose self-adhesive moss mat, 16"x18"
  • All-purpose self-adhesive moss mat, 10"x18"
  • All-purpose self-adhesive moss mat, 18"x48"
  • Hot glue gun & glue sticks
  • Scissors

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Open the 16"x18" all-purpose moss mat & turn it upside down. Place the top of the large metal cake stand onto the mat & trace the top. Cut out the top with scissors. Peel off the backing from the moss mat and adhere it to the top of the large cake stand.
  2. Repeat the above process with the smaller cake stand using the 10"x18" moss mat.
  3. Use the remaining moss to begin covering the pedestals, cutting small sections of moss and attaching. If the moss is not sticking, use the hot glue to adhere.
  4. Cut strips from the 18"x48" all-purpose moss mat to cover the sides of the stands. Cut the strips large enough so that you can fold the moss over the edge of the stand.
  5. Use a pencil or finger to push the moss around the scalloped edges of the stand to define them.
  6. Fill in any areas that the metal may be showing through with small pieces of moss & hot glue them to attach.
