SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Wood pallet or sign blank
- Round brush and detail brush
- Water/paper towel for clean up
- White, black & gray acrylic paints
- White chalk pencil
DIRECTIONS:
- With a chalk pencil, lightly draw and lay out your design onto the pallet/blank sign.
- Using a round brush and detail brush paint onto the sign following your pencil lines as a guide. Depending on the thickness of the strokes for your letters you will need to use the proper brush for each area.
- Apply additional coats of paint as needed.
JOANN Hacks:
- If your pallet wood is rough, try thinning out the paint to make it flow smoother over the rough finish. Make sure to not add too much water or the paint will bleed.
- Once the paint is dry, wipe the chalk lines away with a damp paper towel or rag.
