DESCRIPTION +

Peacock Feather Mask

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Half Mask
  • 1 pkg. Peacock Feathers
  • Feather Medallion
  • 1 White Plume
  • 2 Black Plumes
  • Coordinating Blue Feathers
  • Black Cardstock Paper
  • 2 Pkg. Crystal Gems
  • Fabri-tac Glue
  • Green Glitter Paint
  • Paint Brush

DIRECTIONS:

    Refer to Photo for Feather Placement
  1. Paint the mask with green glitter paint, allow paint to dry thoroughly.
  2. Cut out a beak shape from black cardstock and glue to underside of mask “nose”.
  3. Cover beak with crystal gems.
  4. Glue large plume feathers and peacock feather onto mask as shown.
  5. Remove feather medallion from backing; glue medallion over ends of plume feathers.
  6. Glue on the coordinating blue feathers as shown between the eyes.
  7. Cover up the exposed ends of feathers with crystal gem design.

Snowy Owl Feather Mask

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Half Mask
  • Various Brown, Off-White and White Feathers
  • Black Cardstock Paper
  • Fabri-tac Glue

DIRECTIONS:

    Refer to photo for color and feather placement
  1. Cut out a beak shape from black cardstock and glue to the underside of mask “nose”.
  2. At the center of the forehead of the mask, draw a “V” shape approximately 1 ?” wide at the top and 1 ?” long.
  3. Glue the darker feathers around the top outside edge following the drawn on “V” shape.
  4. Continue gluing off-white feathers around mask overlapping slightly.
  5. If necessary, trim off the bottom “fuzzy” end of white feathers and glue them around the eyes.
  6. Trim off any excess feathers cleanly around eye opening.
