Pillows with Trim

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Pillow Cover
• Home decor trim
• Scissors
• Invisible marker
• Pins
• Iron
• Options:
• Fabric Tac
• Needle & Thread
• Iron-on tape

DIRECTIONS:

Iron-on Tape

1. Trim the trim to the length you would like.
2. Cut tape to the length of the trim. 
3. Carefully lay iron-on tape along the trim.
4. Turn the trim with the tape on the back onto the pillow so the tape is facing down.
5. With a very hot iron, carefully place the iron over the tape trim working in sections. Try to keep the iron stationery. Don't move it back in forth or you risk moving the trim.

Sewing

1. Trim the trim to the length you would like.
2. Pin the trim to the pillow.
3. Do a small hand stitch of your choice to tack the trim in place.
4. Make sure to only stitch through one layer of the pillow case.

Fabric Tac

1. Trim the trim to the length you would like.
2. Use an invisible marker to mark where you would like the trim to go.
3. Carefully apply the glue to the line you made with the marker.
4. Press the trim down on top of the glue.
5. Once it is dry, check the ends and edges to see if you need to apply more glue.
