Slime

Beginner Under 1 Hour

Crunchy Slime

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • 1 Airtight container
  • Assorted small colored beads (any color) or clear floral beads
  • Food dye color of your choice
  • Medium-size mixing bowl
  • Measuring spoons
  • Measuring cups
  • Clear glue
  • Elmer's® Magical Liquid Slime activator
  • Spoon

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Pour the glue into a big bowl.
  2. Add Magical Liquid Slime activator to glue, following directions on bottle.
  3. When the glue mixture starts to pull away from the sides of the bowl, then switch to mixing with your hands.
  4. Add the beads to the mixture after you have completely mixed the slime.
  5. Store your slime in an airtight container.

JOANN Hacks:

  • Always work on a level flat surface.
  • Make sure you have the consistency to the level you want before you add the beads.
  • It may be cloudy at first but will become clear after a couple of hours.

Glitter Slime

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Airtight container
  • Glitter
  • Food dye color of your choice
  • Medium size mixing bowl
  • Measuring spoons
  • Measuring cups
  • Clear glue
  • Elmer's® Magical Liquid Slime activator
  • Spoon

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Pour the glue into a big bowl.
  2. Stir in food dye to color glue.
  3. Add Magical Liquid Slime activator to glue, following directions on bottle.
  4. When the glue mixture starts to pull away from the sides of the bowl, then switch to mixing with your hands.
  5. Add your glitter to the slime working it in with your hands.
  6. Store your slime in an airtight container.

Glow-in-the-dark Slime

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Airtight container
  • Neon acrylic paint similar to the color of the glue
  • Neon glow-in-the-dark glitter glue
  • Medium-size mixing bowl
  • Measuring spoons
  • Measuring cups
  • Elmer's® Magical Liquid Slime activator
  • Spoon

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Pour the neon glow glue into a big bowl.
  2. Add Magical Liquid Slime activator to glue, following directions on bottle.
  3. Add the water mixture to the glue slowly.
  4. When the glue mixture starts to pull away from the sides of the bowl, then switch to mixing with your hands.
  5. Store your slime in an airtight container.
