SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Assorted frames - different sizes/shapes/styles
- Assorted artificial flower picks
- White chalk paint
- Silver chalk paint
- Paintbrushes
- Sandpaper block
- Hot glue gun/glue sticks
- Scissors
- X-Acto® knife
- Newspaper/plastic to cover surface of work area
- Damp paper towel
DIRECTIONS:
- Begin by removing the glass and back portion of frames - use X-Acto® knife if needed.
- Spread newspaper/plastic over work area and place frames across surface.
- Paint one coat of silver chalk paint over entire surface of frames, front and back.
- Allow paint to dry for at least 2 hours.
- Once paint is dry, paint one coat of white chalk paint over top of silver.
- Allow paint to dry for at least 2-3 hours.
- Use sandpaper block to distress edges of frames and expose silver paint underneath.
- Use a damp paper towel to clean paint dust from frames after distressing edges.
- Using hot glue gun, attach assorted floral picks to the front edges of frames or wrap wire of floral pick around frame to attach.
