DIRECTIONS:
  1. Attach a small piece of tape to the front edges of the wood frames to indicate the placement of the hangers on the backs of the frames.
  2. Cut one block of Floral Foam into two 1 3/8"x 3 1/2"x 3 1/2" pieces for the two small wood frames.
  3. Cut one block of Floral Foam into two 1 3/8"x 3 1/2"x 6 3/4" pieces for the large wood frame.
  4. Apply the Contact Cement to the inside of the wood frames and set the Floral Foam into the frames. Press into place.
  5. With a ruler, lay out rectangles on the back of the sheet moss: one at 6 7/8"x 6 7/8" and two at 3 1/2"x 3 1/2". Use scissors to cut the squares.
  6. Apply the Contact Cement to the Floral Foam in the wood frames in a zig zag pattern across the center and once around the edges. Press the moss sheets on to the Floral Foam with the good side out.

  1. Large frame:

  2. Cut the stems of three Echeveria Lola picks (burgundy) to 2" long. Cut starter holes with an X-Acto® knife through the moss sheet. Two in the upper right corner, 1" inside of frame and one just right of center at the bottom 1" inside frame. Angle the stems into the holes so the leaves overlap the frame.
  3. Cut the stem of one Mini Succulent pick, dusted red, to 1 1/2" long. Insert the stem through a hole toward center of the frame by the top two picks.
  4. Cut the stems of three Echeveria Lola picks (peach) to 2" long. Insert two stems toward center of the frame and one in the lower left corner. Keep the center stems higher by inserting the stems straight in to the foam.
  5. Hot glue all the stems that have been set in to the foam by lifting one at a time and placing a small amount of hot glue on the entry hole in the foam. Reset each stem immediately.
  6. Add three of the Mini Aloe picks. Two to the lower left corner of the frame and one above the right Aloe. These picks have spikes on the stems and should stay in place once inserted through the moss into the foam.
  7. Cut one stem Flocking Airplant to 2" long. Cut a starter hole in the moss to the left of the center peach Echeveria Lola plants. Hot glue the stem in place.
  8. Cut one stem of Med. Green Succulent pick, thick leaves, to 2î long. Cut a starter hole in the upper left corner and hot glue the stem in place.
  9. Cut the stems of two Sedum and Fern picks to 1 3/4" long. Cut starter holes and hot glue in place, one on the center right side and one in the center top of the frame.
  10. Cut one stem of Greenery pick to 1 3/4" long. Cut a starter hole and hot glue in place in the bottom right corner of the frame.

  1. Small frames (2):

  2. One frame picks:

JOANN Hacks:
  • When cutting stems, hold on either side of the wire cutters to catch the cut off part of the stem.
  • The greenery comes in thick bundles of individual stems. If the look seems too busy, remove a stem or two prior to gluing in place.
